Mei-Shun went out on Ms. Scarlet this morning to see Dr. M, her home dentist for the first time this year. Since there would be no pain, she was relaxed when sat on an automatic chair. Her bed of Ame-chan looks all right, yet still has a kind of hole. Oh, beautiful 臥待月, she is ready to go into dry futon having a good bath. See you in 更待月 tomorrow night.
Here is Princess Cymby with two bouquets. Mei-Shun feels really happy to see them grow day by day, while elder one already has a bud change into yellow from green. You take nearly a whole month to bloom, honey, who remind her of a decade before — sister Kasumi, another 名取 student of beloved Master Mei-Shu, kindly gave you to her after performing 島の千歳.
It is Coming of Age Day today. Since 18-year-old young people are already called adults, 20-year might be taken normal these days. However, alcohol drinking and smoking would be allowed after the latter. Many local governments therefore hold gatherings on the 2nd Monday of January, may let them follow parties. We have 小寒=shokan, the 5th of winter 二十四節気 today. It means the beginning of 寒=the coldest season of the year, while almost no wind, sunny enough for Mei-Shun to walk to a nearby hair salon without gloves before noon. Expecting 小望月=komochi-tsuki or 幾望=kibo at night, she cleaned up rooms in the morning to put on the 1st kimono in 2023.
Happy Birthday, mom-in-law. Mei-Shun is always pleased to go out for shopping of flowers and a cake for you. Stormy wind pushed her into a shop for the former where only a few, tiny arrangements were displayed. She asked a clerk if superior one was available. She replied it was, yet 2023 first auction would be held tomorrow. “We have therefore a bit elder ones here…” No problem at all.
So 2023 started for Shin to work from today. Since 元旦=January 1st was amazingly on Sunday, we managed to have 2nd a national holiday. However, 3rd is not printed in red on our new solar calendar meaning a weekday. Many of us therefore had serial holidays from December 29th, 2022 — just 5 days, quite shorter than usual. On the other hand, above husband of Mei-Shun continued his business until the end of last year.

Mei-Shun visited her horsey riding club today for the last time this year. She hopes to choose gentle partners to improve her technique, trying several ones including Mr. Danone Caesar. He is a son of that Deep Impact, resembles the great father in charming eyes and tinier body. And slender Madoka-chan, mom got slimmer than before. Could you help her more from next year?
