Meow, it is chilly this morning. Mom spread her kimono coat over me curling on the sofa, yet I woke up twice. All right, my bed would serve better sleep until mom takes a nap in the afternoon. Purr …

Please find Momo-chan, our garden princess. How shiny she is! It seems to Mei-Shun that this 80% blossom is the best. On the other hand, 染井吉野 in the park where she walks in the morning blooms still in 30%. There are 八重桜=yae-sakura trees as well, whose gorgeous flower we could see a month later. Such diversity of spring pink makes our mind really full of joy.

Fog might cover throughout the Japanese Archipelago this morning. It was adventurous to drive in such a circumstance. Mei-Shun visited a beauty salon in Shinagawa. She enjoyed many plum trees in blossom along Joban Line. And on the way to the saloon, bright pink color jumped into her eyes — it is 河津桜=kawazu-sakura, a cherry breed which blooms in early spring. After the haircut, she met with Shin at a hotel which accommodates one of their favorite Japanese cuisine restaurant.
Our Aladdin stove starved last night. Mei-Shun found it just after taking a bath, set the timer to let him start at 5:00. She wished it worked for left 10 minutes, yet he denied to. It might be the coldest morning of this winter — still in the dark, our gas range made a good job to warm the room while serving us hot tea, soup and lemonade.
These are my beds. Pink one is recent Christmas gift from mom, but I prefer another. While she left me alone for a month last year, I always stayed in it — it has her scent. Now she asks me to use new one, putting it in my cage at night. Well, I’ll use it if I want to. Don’t force me to do anything. How to tell her so?
