Torrid Tournament

Standard

Mei-Shun enjoyed sumo wrestling on TV yesterday, when it was 千穐楽=the last day of 15-day match. With Shin’s birthday on lunar calendar as well, she vacuumed all rooms before putting on kimono. Oh, 3 rikishi of 3rd highest 幕下 rank, belonging to 二所ノ関部屋 succeeded in 勝ち越し meaning 4 or more wins. 2nd highest 十両 one also did by 10 wins, while her favorite of other stable won 8 in the highest 幕内.

Thanks a lot, Mikan-chan. As she gently wrote with fluffy paws, their goal on the 2nd day of trip to 能登半島 was 輪島の朝市=morning market. Summer wind here is also harsh, yet green rice paddies look growing well. Oh, hello grandma who sells cute, handmade works. It seems to Mei-Shun that similar items are on a table, while not the same lady she met several years before.

Helmet Highness

Thanks a million, Shin. He kindly ordered above head gear for Mei-Shun, whose current one has a slight problem. Also made in Germany, via New Zealand this time. Your debut would be later though, honey. Her older boots are employed right now, horseies prefer cooler environment after September. On the other hand, heavy perspiration during summer let her see better numbers on a scale.

Shining Summer

Mei-Shun found above 棗=jujube blooming. Tiny flowers in light green are difficult to see from a distance, yet she noticed them thanks to rice — water used to wash it is kept in an old kettle shaped like an orange (or helpful Mikan-chan). Then it works as a nutritive fertilizer, spread onto plants in our garden. Not only feeding many of us, this great staple food also grows tasty fruits.

Farewell, Flavor

Standard

Please let Mei-Shun say thanks a million to you kind 498 followers. Who would be the last 2 persons to reach her number of wish? By the way, she made a little mistake: stored 八十八夜摘み茶 in Ms. Cuby, refrigerator for too long to keep its sweet scent. If she did not open the package vacuum sealed, it would still give perfect air of early May. Only maintained is bright green.

Open Omikuji

Mei-Shun visited the nearest shrine after several months on weekend. Oh, twin 狛犬 A- and N-chans, great to see you two again. She had missed you so much, yet could not keep enough power to walk toward here. Now everything is fine, as her dance with Ms. Carino Piccola today. This horsey lady seems to prefer clockwise to our regular lessons going counter.

Dental Diet?

Standard

Mei-Shun saw Dr. M, her home dentist this morning. Artificial Ame-chan would finally be attached toward her right upper jaw. They first cleaned teeth up, then put paste like gum into her mouth to take impressions — oh, a big baby who ate pink cakes is in a mirror. Yes, she saw nice numbers on a scale last night, after just one lesson with Ms. Last One.

Potent Plant

Shin finally decided to repair our house; change waterproof sheets on the roof floor, repaint outer walls. Since flowers and trees beside windows would be damaged, Mei-Shun dug up grapefruit and cactus for placing in other ground. The former 3 were gentle enough to let her find smooth shafts to pinch. However, the latter rejected her fingers with fine, painful thorns.

Shining Silver

Mei-Shun resumed French and Spanish radio lessons from Monday. Absent for half an year, yet it was amazing that she has not forgotten the latter so much. Precisely, she has studied the former since a university student, while 4 and 3 grades held by APEF were gained after she moved to Ibaraki. Just 15 minutes spent for each anyway, such practice makes her weekdays more satisfactory.

Mei-Shun finally received above item this rainy morning. Thanks a lot, a delivery person who put a towel on the box. Her prescription would be recorded here soon, covered by tough guardians. Oh? “SKIYAKI” is retailer’s name. Where is U after S to mean that popular cuisine in our country? Or designers at this company prefer winter sports to their business?
