Seven years have elapsed since Mei-Shun’s beloved father passed away. She has made it a rule to contact her mother on this day in person as the best, on phone as better. Her second rule is to read a letter from him. When she passed the university entrance exam, he lived alone at his workplace in Kobe. StandardActually she has “battle” before this lovely name. Here in this club Mei-Shun belongs to, nobody would add it — no need for you, darling, a dark-brown and slender girl with a diamond star on the forehead. Mei-Shun decided to join a team to train Madoka-chan. Ms. I is our leader. This program is called “new comer training”, taking half a year to teach horses how to follow, communicate and get along with human beings for the first hand. It would start from June 1st.
Oh, Babies
StandardThese little sprouts of gingko in our backyard while in a row at 乙戸沼 Park are so cute, looking like green shells. However, the former was found to work as stairs for Tora-chan to reach Mei-Shun, Shin and Mikan-chan living on the 2nd floor. Good girl, we cannot let you in. Please keep free, save your territory including our garden.
In Kimono
StandardI feel very sleepy today. Looking at cloudy sky, mom drove dad to the station in the morning. She has to do the dishes after every meal these days, taking twice as long as usual. That may be why she comes home earlier, makes me happier.

Be Watchful
StandardThis is Queen Peach, mother of Momo-chan whose slender sister is seen on this side. The latter had passed away one year after the photo below was taken. Mei-Shun heard it from mom recently, shocked so much. We have to be like 桜守=sakura-mori, gardeners who take care of famous cherry trees while growing descendants of current breeds to keep loved beauty for long time.
Never Forgotten
StandardIt was also cold five years ago. Today never stop reminding us of that disaster. We all stand shivering under dark clouds after the severest first shake, followed by strong aftershocks over and over. And she evacuated behind the TV in our living room, the safest place at home. Well done, clever girl.
Ring the Bell
StandardMikan-chan has two watering places; one is a plastic bowl set in her cage, the other is an automatic fountain. The latter has a tank behind, yet the user is better to know time for cleaning. When she tried and walk away, mom has to clean it even if the tank is not empty.
Happy Home
StandardMei-Shun planned to apply for her passport renewal on coming March 3. It seemed nice to make the date of issue set on one of her happiest ones. However, she has to cancel that procedure since her left eye would take longer than 3 days to heal. Another candidate is March 23 when Mikan-chan exulted seeing her mom again after 4-week wait last year.
