Hello again, lady’s tresses. Mei-Shun loves this flower who shares microorganisms with lawn. Thanks to recent humid air, Shin gives up mowing half of our garden. He never cares other plants grow there, while another half is treated by mom-in-law. And she discarded “natural arrangement” in a pot her daughter-in-law brought downstairs during repaint of our house walls.
水無月=minazuki, meaning current month, calls one of Shin and Mei-Shun’s favorite sweets. Kyoto people enjoy it on June 30th to celebrate safe half an year. Mei-Shun is fairly fond of 合歓木. They normally bloom in rainy season, quite delayed this year. On the other hand, plants look like knowing how to survive much more than we do. With no drop from sky, humidity and temperature might let them open flowers to gain seeds. Such wisdom allows her to see pretty pink, enjoy photo session after dancing a bit on a horsey guy.
Thanks a million, Shin. He returned home on weekend to give Mei-Shun a box of caramels made in Switzerland — his latest destination for business was Vietnam. The latter seems to love durian; that thorny fruit as big as watermelon, whose tastiness is shared by above husband. However, the wife hesitates even to open a package of local sweets containing it.
