Mei-Shun has wondered why only these 2 days among 24 are included. It might be partly because we have the most number (17) of such commemoration in the world.

White Day saw sleet fall around Shin and Mei-Shun’s place. They drove to Mt. Tsukuba on Sunday, surprised by the view like a ski slope. So it was romantic enough for the wife to receive cookies, chocolate-coated anko balls, plum jelly, baumkuchen, etc. She currently gets along with weight control, felt free to enjoy them on tea, coffee and green tea. A full moon floated last night, Mei-Shun heard from a close friend. Since it rained all day long, she played “Clair de Lune” by Master Debussy on Ms. Piano, never recognizing such a romantic view over the curtain. Well, perhaps thanks to that gentle entity, Shin was relieved from hay disease while his wife from fierce appetite tortured them for a month.

Oh, how nice いしじま is, a peanuts shop and soba restaurant Shin and Mei-Shun loves. Their products are really good, including this 鼈甲飴=bekko-ame, caramel candy. Simple technique to boil down caster sugar tastes great as artistic confectionery. And similar one in tiny bottles of sauce was attached to 餡蜜=an-mitsu, alga jelly and red-bean jam by みはし.
Ms. Scarlet has been hit in the left rear tyre for several times so far by Mei-Shun. Now it came at last: a scar reached breaking point with a weird, dull sound. She continued to drive toward the nearest station to pick up Shin. The wife is normally dull at any trouble on a car, yet recognized rattling noise started just after the couple met.
