Mei-Shun is used to 日高昆布, dried kelp grown in Hokkaido, for miso soup. However, her favorite net shop runs out of this breed these days. She therefore tried 利尻昆布, from another city in the same prefecture. To her astonishment, much of that fermented soybean paste is trapped by stronger viscosity of the latter. Saltiness is released after a night, contracts her tongue and eyes in the morning.

Mei-Shun chose taneya sweets to treat herself heading for the goal of weight control. Actually, their recent message featured “White Day” collection. It is counterpart of St. Valentine’s Day, set on March 14th. Girls would receive marshmallow, candy and other gifts from boys, like they did the opposite mainly by chocolates. How strong temptation from white baumkuchen is!
We have 雨水=usui, the 2nd of spring 二十四節気 today. It means snow would shift into rain, while 2020 seems already to be warmer. Mei-Shun enjoys plum blossom through an eastern window at home, appears in person at the nearest shrine. The latter accommodates two plum trees bloom in white, yet she has not recognized one just beside the front torii gate.
Meow, mom lets me stay free from the cage at night these days. It is very comfortable to relax on the sofa covered by clean blankets, with warm wind coming down from an air conditioner. Two restrooms became available; one I’ve used from my kittenhood, another bigger set beside a refrigerator. Thanks mom, I feel much better. You are always welcome to get up before dawn. Mei-Shun make it a rule to play “Clair de Lune” composed by Master Debussy on rainy days, while Prélude Op. 28-15 or “Raindrop” by Master Chopin when it is clear and dry. However, she was forced to change partly this routine with unusual rainfall last month. Alternation happened also in her list of hair saloon. She visited one in 御徒町, Tokyo today wishing her style play refreshing melody.

Or St. Valentine’s Day has come. Mei-Shun ordered much of that delicacy from a chocolatier located in western Tokyo. Bringing one among them chocolate-coated apple jelly, she visited her mother’s home for lunch joined by her elder sister. Time flew above these three women, chat after chat. By the way, that saint seems to prosper again in Europe these days.
Hello Mr. Tea Time, looking so cute as usual, while a hair accessory on your forehead lost one of rhinestones. It would be a great pleasure of Mei-Shun to change it into another already prepared. Listen, Antwerp, the city of jewelry, brought her the best choice of emerald ring via Shin. Their couple of clear and green gemstones would therefore wait a bit more to become a pair of earrings.

Mei-Shun instructs Professor M in kabuki dance on Wednesdays. Actually, today is the first lesson in 2020 since the former was sickened on her left eyelid last month. Mei-Shun had a phone call from Dr. A meaning “Yes” on weekend. Now she can live another half an year without thinking about it. It is her greatest pleasure, thanking everyone close to her whom she loves so much. One of them Shin, on the top of her list, is on a business trip to Germany. Staying at Frankfurt am Main, he visited Munich, Antwerp in Belgium before coming home tomorrow.
