Rainy season 2025 starts in Kanto region. It means life of Mei-Shun shifts into summer version; less perspiration by horsey, more inspiration at home. Since Shin recently changed eating habit in preparation for annual checkup, many vegetables would appear on their table. By the way, we expect 十五夜 tonight — she might be shielded with silver clouds, invisible yet shine like Mademoiselle Angel.
Yes, Shin loves it. Mei-Shun does as well, while has preferred young, thorny ones to pickle in her 糠床=fermented rice bran with olive shells and seeds. On the other paw of Mikan-chan, the husband sometimes picks up bigger, smooth and reasonable batches at supermarkets. The wife learned they are superb not only in salad: juicy nature serves nice to fry, simmer and grill.
Happy birthday dad, purr. I and mom are really pleased to have lived with you so far. You are born on a rainy day while windy, dry and sunny today. Preparing for humid weeks, she worked hard at home; hang futon mats outdoors, wash blankets and sheets, bake a cake, clean 2 fans, etc. Now she returned from shopping, ready to serve you handmade dinner.

We have 芒種=boshu, the 3rd of summer 二十四節気 today. Mei-Shun’s diary also inform her on 蟷螂生 of 七十二候 meaning mantis babies would come out. It therefore does do it, resting at Ms. Scarlet in a car park. Here Mikan-chan and she enjoyed trotting with Mesdemoiselles Angel et Pino, whose sizes are almost the same. Merci beaucoup for easy exchange of riding gears.
Mei-Shun feels content to see that great score composed by Master J. Pachelbel again. Compared to others including “Le Cygne”, “Habanera”, “La Cinquantaine”, “Pavane pour une Infante Défunte”, etc., it flows so nice that gives her joy of dulcet melody. And please listen, it was ending music aired after she played the role of Petruchio in “The Taming of the Shrew” by Master Shakespeare.
Mei-Shun’s mother gave her younger daughter photos taken in her garden. Oh, lovely cactus flowers — “they only bloom for a day”, she said. It seems to all depend; direct from green balls in pale pink, same while bright yellow, orange with long stalks. By the way, hydrangeas start growing buds here and there. Lace-cap one living at our southeastern corner is daily checked.
Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun got on Ms. Moon toward 三昧塚古墳 on weekend. Sunlight lit them up through thin clouds, looked like curtains covering 霞ヶ浦. After greeting an ancient king, they dropped in a supermarket where amazingly various sake bottles are accommodated. Above was chosen by the wife to accompany sashimi for dinner.
Mei-Shun has already noticed that there is a nice shop selling rice crackers on the way to Tsukuba horsey riding club. When she drove Ms. Scarlet to see Dr. W the other day, an idea popped into her mind: why would not she bring some as souvenirs? It looks like a restaurant while serving for shopping only. Several bags were brought home of course, quite fond of by Shin as well.
Oh, lovely Princess Maria, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun miss you so much. Please listen, the latter took care of the garden after her husband Shin weeded it by electric cutters. She first put on glasses, yet such exercise made her take them off soon. When she prepared a cup of tea, a chest pocket showed nothing within. Her panicked thumbs finally found them at the bottom of a grass hill.
It is great pleasure for me and mom to thank you kind 528 followers on a date of all the same numbers, purr. We visited Tsukuba horsey riding club as usual Wednesdays, enjoyed dancing with Mr. Marumorita. There is a mulberry tree beside our field, bearing a lot of fruits. A couple of raccoons came the other day for tea time perhaps, stayed during lessons.
