Mei-Shun is, would never like to get wet even in slight rain. It means to wish health and happiness in latter half of the year on June 30th, a custom originated from Kyoto. Above couple loves to visit this ancient capital, while to try pretty sweets there.
晴耕雨読 meaning to farm on sunny day, to read on rainy day used to be our custom in good old days. And it still continues in how Mei-Shun does; to enjoy horsey-back riding when it is from clear to cloudy, to dance when it rains or snows. She owes all of it to Shin who works hard no matter what color the sky puts on, saying that her smiling, healthy face deserves every bacon he brings home.
