This morning gave the former a chance to enjoy beautiful 八重桜 bloom at 乙戸沼 Park while the latter to relax in Lemon after a long intermission, before moving into her favorite bed. Still feeling winter, honey? That excellent lady was born in the middle of spring.
Kaori-san, an illustrator and good high-school classmate of Mei-Shun, will hold her second exhibition in June at Merry-go-round Kyoto, the same venue as her first one. Congratulations and thanks — November gave us a shock of long queue for taxi last time. Our driver was kind enough to teach how to avoid waiting, which would not have to work for June.
He is so gentle that unskillful riders including Mei-Shun would be accepted. He never gets angry even if another horse approaches from behind too much. Only cacophony of airplane engines could make him frightened a little. Thanks to him and beautiful cherry blossom, Mei-Shun seems being relieved gradually from trauma made when she fell from Dreamer.
Dora-chan, perhaps father of Tora-chan’s four kittens, is often seen in our garden these days. Yes, that season has come. We often hear him call Tora-chan at night, find his marking on the front door. Hi, Mr. Deck Brush, it is your turn to work. We would like to have him neutered, yet he never let us approach within a circle 6 feet in diameter around him.
It was freezing this morning, representing 三寒四温 of this season with a drizzle in which nobody except for Mei-Shun uses umbrellas in her family. Oh, Tora-chan, you are kind enough to follow her to the garbage collection point. Please keep yourself dry under the eaves.
Ms. I, Mei-Shun’s favorite instructor in horseback riding, gave a phone call. Yes, she misses you and lovely horses so much so far — the red eye has prevented her from attending the classes. Now that it’s 95% healed, she hopes to see them on coming Friday.
Please take the most profound gratefulness of Mei-Shun, Professor S. This bottle accommodates a perfume from the Sultanate of Oman, called “tarha” meaning a bride’s veil in Arabic. Three respectful professors of the University of Tsukuba kindly held a birthday party for Mei-Shun last Saturday; January 13th on the lunar calendar. The same restaurant they met last year served two glasses of beer instead of wine.
Not that famous actress, a lovely horse girl. She is honest in lessons, patient enough to carry such an unskillful rider as Mei-Shun. On the other hand, she is so charming and friendly, a little bit mischievous once leaving the ground. Yes, we know you do not like to be squeezed by a saddle belt. Please stop yawning 8 times after that.
Kaori-san, how kind of you to draw Mei-Shun in Suisen-Tanzen performance on the letter of winter greeting! Thanks a million. She put it on Ms. Piano to attract her for practice as much as possible. It is working well, they say with smile.
Professor S. is generous enough giving Mei-Shun another necklace — we had an year-end dinner. Her beads choice is always perfect. Please see these pearls as good examples. They might be a bit deformed, while look like lovely snowmen, fox faces and tadpoles who are kindly economical as well.
