So happy to hear from Dr. A that Mei-Shun has no problem in the blood, either. The scar is getting smaller thanks to a “magic” tape, which actually works with steroidal agent. Further efforts (including diet!) would lead to better conditions. July 10th is set for the target to lose X kg.

Watermelons
StandardWhole ones are still in the field for finishing sunbath. If you are on the waiting list, find cut ones at stores. They are reasonable and ripe enough, but might be too cold for some stomachs. Nature knows what to eat right now.
Lazy Days
StandardRainy days makes you feel like doing nothing, don’t they? Sleepy anytime, slow for anything. And that makes Mei-Shun put on bigger tire around her waist … ohhh, she must escape from such a vicious circle as soon as possible.
Lesson Resumed
StandardMaster Mei-Shu gave Mei-Shun the first lesson after the latter left hospital. Three-month intermission does not seem too long to get their concentration back. Fine perspiration. We love Japanese dance, the best and admirable art.
Thorny Rose
StandardWe found a camellia tree in the backyard of our neighbor full of toxic caterpillars! That tree is not ours, but blooms nicely in winter. It therefore seems our duty to keep her healthy. And our own health must be cared as well.
After half a year
StandardThe eldest son of Professor S is a doctor, managing a clinic in Nakano, Tokyo. It is so nice to come here by train, chat with him before taking a kind of aesthetic treatment. A diagnosis requiring an operation has prevented Mei-Shun from enjoying this little monthly journey, yet now she is very happy to resume it.
Typhoon in May
StandardIt was awful last night. Typhoon Noul, changed into an extratropical cyclone, rushed over Japanese Archipelago. Growling and shaking houses like an earthquake, it really scared us. Further torturing is such a torrid weather afterward – we are not yet used to it. Let’s be careful not to have a heatstroke.
After 6 Wks
StandardSigh of relief: no problem in Mei-Shun’s current condition, Dr. A said. Just one thing is clear – gaining weight affects the scar resulting from the operation. The more it is pulled outward, the wider it would be. It is therefore very important for a thinner, better scar to lead a good diet.
A Shock!
StandardThis weighing scale is broken, isn’t it? Five weeks have passed since Mei-Shun left the hospital. She had made it – lost a good weight, felt no pain and fine. However, it is never easy to keep such condition. A tire has begun to grow up around her waist little by little to date, and … does it cause a pain in the scar as well?
Shall you dance?
StandardTwo months have passed since Mei-Shun had the operation. It looks easy to live a normal life at home, yet only for you in normal health. For an ex-patient, it is quite difficult to do similar to yesterday. However, she could not but going forward little by little, as much as possible. Let’s resume practice. Why don’t you put on kimono?
