Moon Music

Standard

Closed at home by typhoons, Mei-Shun often played with Ms. Piano in the morning for these 2 weeks. It reminds her of childhood, especially summer vacation when she and her elder sister used to do the same. They managed to avoid complaints from neighbors who were not interested in, while the grown-up younger is never worried about such a matter, just misses the gentle light at night.

Moon Missed

… in full shape, on Saturday when the atypical typhoon Jongdari hit Japanese Archipelago. It went from east to west, just opposite to normal, still continues to walk above southern Kyushu. However, cautious preparation in Kansai area worked very well this time, makes Mei-Shun feel relieved. We and Mars would be able to enjoy our propinquity tonight in clear sky.

Half Passed

Standard

This time has come for Shin and Mei-Shun to enjoy 水無月, celebrating their halcyon life from the start of 2018. Looking at a clear full moon last night, they were full of thankfulness. With southern shutters kept open wishing to be blessed by the gentle light, they said good-night to Mikan-chan. And in this morning, according to weather forecasts, current rainy season seems to have gone!

Fifth Moon

Standard

It was 端午の節句 or lunar May 5th yesterday. Covered with rainy clouds of this season, we have missed beautiful crescents since the 2nd of the same. Mei-Shun gave it up in half, yet felt lucky for seeing her float among dark shadow. Please find following a photo taken by her who made such a challenge despite being awful at it. She wishes it could help a piece of smile for Osaka people.

Missing Moon

Standard

Lunar May has started from yesterday. It was a bit cloudy, yet clear enough to let Mei-Shun see lovely horseies for lessons. Oh, this was 大安 as well, the best among 六曜 for her elder sister’s birthday. “Congratulations!” e-mail took just a minute for a thankful reply. She was too tired to play piano at night, while a good result on a weight scale shed bright light into her mind.

Piano Season

Standard

At least Mei-Shun feels so. Rainfall makes her stay indoors, find something special to do in such an environment. For example, even if she cannot see the moon at night, great composers like Debussy and Beethoven would help much. Their works to express moonlight soothe not only her but also every mind, while sensitive technique is required to play them precisely.

After 3Y + 8Wks

Standard

Mei-Shun felt happy when Dr. A told her if she would take a longer “leave” prior to the next appointment. That means she has had no problem so far, yet anything would happen in your life. She therefore asked the doctor to see her in September, or in 4 months as she set today in January. Now is the time to wait a phone call. A full moon tonight could soothe her mind.

Dance & Diet

Standard

This tiny flower was found blooming on an arrangement plate celebrated Mei-Shun’s performance on stage two years before. It might kindly come to remind her of the days strictly controlled in preparation. Yes, too much weight could be a disturbance for dancers, while for horseies as well. With lunar April starts from today, she wishes to lose another bag and a half of sugar soon.

Lunar Spring

Standard

So it is March 1st on our older calendar. Mei-Shun walked to the nearest shrine in the morning to greet Gods and draw omikuji lots. They gave both Shin and his wife 末吉, a little lucky with advice to be cautious in health for the former while to harmful people for the latter. On the way to home, blue flowers including wisteria and iris surprised her in almost 70-80% blossom.

Welcome Back

Standard

Dear Mr. Diamond, we have been looking forward to seeing you again: it took as long as two months to make you up. Mei-Shun’s late father, the previous owner would be pleased as well. And do you know, it is the last day of lunar January today. Shall we go to the nearest shrine tomorrow to make a wish on the best day? White plum trees are in full bloom there, while cherry trees grew buds from pale yellow to red.
