Mei-Shun did not purchase her preferred 柏餅 and 粽 this year. She makes weekly order for foods delivered on Friday, while it was one of our national holidays. That forced her to gave up asking a superb 和菓子=Japanese sweets maker to send their products on the same weekday. However, gentle Shin brought home above saying the blue box is all for his wife.
Yes, 2024 has Constitution Memorial Day on Friday. Traffic jam forced Shin to sit in our new car Ms. Moon for a few hours longer than usual. Followed by weekend Days of Greenery and Children, 6th would be a “Happy Monday” to replace 5th. Since April 29th Showa Day was also at the beginning of last week, many salaried workers had 3 serial days off. Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun wish their happy Golden Week.

Here is a spotted seal living in an enormous sun lounge with a tank put below. He/she is one of a couple, kindly greeted Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun. Such a friendly mammal who swims around, jumps out of water to relax on an artificial shore. His/her attitude reminds above wife of a pygmy hippopotamus she saw at Ueno Zoological Gardens, where dad-in-law was working.
We would expect a round moon tonight, yet a rainfall started from early morning. Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun hope it will stop within today to let them see that celestial beauty. On the other paw, they wish horsey riding field drier than rice paddy tomorrow. Now it is time for her mom to sing those 2 scores with Ms. Piano — half of people passing by still use umbrellas.
