It seems too soon for us to enter rainy season in May, yet this week saw such weather. Mei-Shun was forced to cancel reservations at her horsey riding club on Monday and today. Well, it is your turn, Ms. Piano, to play with her instead of Princess Maria and others. Wishing a full moon at Sunday night, let’s sing her scores composed by Master Debussy and Beethoven as usual.
Mei-Shun practices 松の緑 by herself at home these days. As she might mentioned before, this is the only score for those who would like 名取 status in Bando Ryu. On the other hand, beloved Master Mei-Shu said it was one of 2 scores for Kikunoe Ryu students who aim to do the same. Another was 梅の栄, which her last 名取 performed on the stage for the 1st time.
Purr, I love morning sunlight here. As seasons flow, it began to enter this glass door toward eastern verandah. Mom often opens it to take photos of a gingko tree grown in our backyard. Once cut at the height of her waist on the 1st floor, it has already reached to her eyes. “He covers you when seen from a car dealer across a private lane”, she says. I’m rather interested in a pigeon house visible thorough his green leaves.

Mother of Mei-Shun still stays at 草津, where her eldest daughter and son-in-law kindly drove her to. Her younger daughter believes that beloved father always protects his widow wife, never worries about her sojourn there alone. Above is current image of ヤマツツジ in their garden, whom he could not enjoy since his wife found it several years before.
Thank you so much, Shin. He brought home above yesterday for Mei-Shun, happy mom of Mikan-chan celebrating Mother’s Day. His real mother received the same gift from him of course, while a pot of red carnations from her daughter-in-law and a lovely pink bouquet from her genuine daughter. She looked satisfied whose smile makes all family members blissful.
Mei-Shun resumed listening to above class on the radio. And Evaluación del Conocimiento de la Lengua Española waits application by her who is wondering which is better to take, 5th or 4th grade. Well, she actually took both for French years before. Similar language might require an equivalent challenge; easier one first, another a bit more difficult next.
We have 立夏=rikka, the 1st of summer 二十四節気 today. Also Children’s Day, blue sky nicely covers fresh green here and there. Such a sight reminds Mei-Shun of tea called 八十八夜摘み新茶 she ordered, perhaps already available at the shop. However, she finished 知覧茶 purchased at the same place this morning, opened 嬉野茶 Shin brought home from Saga recently.
Purr, she stays with me today. Dad went out early in the morning, took a business trip to Aomori. He would turn to Nagano tomorrow, saying sorry yet it is more convenient to pass us tonight. All right, there is no problem. I am in good health, so are you two. One is involved in exciting jobs outside. Another who saw nice numbers on a scale yesterday enjoys working and eating inside.
