Mei-Shun’s mother was born on August 1st. She spends her birthday at a lodge she owns in Kusatsu, Gunma Prefecture. We therefore used to hold a lunch party one month earlier. This year she prefers staying at home to eating out — well, no problem. Three women lack nothing to cook and chat.

Green Bride
StandardMei-Shun is good at growing green necklaces (only). Today is the “marriage” date for the best-grown one; Professor S, an admirable lady who kindly friends with Mei-Shun, would like that pot. Well, drink much water, relax well in the sunlight, daughters. Who would be the next?
Excellent Music
StandardMei-Shun’s last piano instructor Ms. S informed that one of her works won a musical prize held in Tokyo last year. Based on “Csikos Post” by Hermann Necke, it sounds lively, showing her passion and techniques poured on the keyboard.

StandardSo this is Christmas. And this is the 21st wedding anniversary for Shin and Mei-Shun. Look at his real gift. Just beautiful, isn’t it?
Interview to Master: 10
StandardAnother director rushed to them, whispering to her colleague that she was Mei-Shu II, the youngest sister of late I. The told one flushed and murmured an apology. This happening made ties between Kikunoe directors stronger; Master Mei-Shu has succeeded her sister both in name and substance.

StandardExcellent. Just excellent. Mei-Shun and Shin met Kaori-san, an illustrator Ms. KOGASHIWA, Kaori in Kyoto. Gallery “Merry-go-round” accommodates a bookstore and an exhibition space where you can see her fantastic works by December 3. And this chic flower as well, presented by her mother.

Invitation to Kyoto!
StandardMs. KOGASHIWA, Kaori gave Mei-Shun an invitation to her first exhibition held in Kyoto, titled “Ohanashi-no-Ki-no-Shita-de” (=Under Tree of Stories) from Nov. 22 to Dec. 3. She has been good at drawing since her high-school days, currently works as an illustrator. Congratulations, Kaori-san.
