Mei-Shun gave Princess Cymby pots 2 kinds of fertilizers; one is liquid for once a week, the other solid once a month. Satisfied at their livelier looks, she found smaller (=younger?) princess accommodates an unique friend, another baby mantis. Can you kind followers recognize him/her below? Interestingly, he/she has tabby in legs, seems to camouflage him/herself as a plant.
Tora-chan has several safe places to relax on, except for her outdoor bed beside mom-in-law’s living room. It might be one of them, a compressor unit of air-conditioner at next-door the Ys. She seems to choose the best place according to circumstances, not always follow mom-in-law who cannot but welcome her little friend anytime when she rushes into our front door.
One of Mei-Shun’s favorite shops there is 陶柿園. They sell a lot of tableware including these chopsticks rests. Could you see cute fishes swimming in clear glass water? Real sight of them is available in a garden of 5-floor building where various restaurants serve you. Actually, it is not so easy to find such places along narrow, winding lanes. Why don’t you therefore enjoy no-map promenade?
He is a thoroughbred guy in shining white coat. His tail is so beautiful — long, blonde and straight, cut neatly at the bottom. Gentle-touch and friendly in mind, he has a lot of fans including Mei-Shun of course. However, she had to postpone reservation of his time for a lesson today, since Mr. Shin will come back from the U. S. She is too busy to go out, with his birthday party planned at night.
It is from me and mom, though daddy Shin is still in the plane to the U. S. right now. That means he sees two birthdays this year, doesn’t it? Mom practices Japanese dance after taking care of me. All right, go ahead. I’ll stay here not to make you panicked at losing me, while to keep quiet.

Here she is. Don’t you kind followers think her eyes are pretty? Not only her looks but her heart is the sweetest. Mei-Shun is so much fond of this lady, would like Madoka-chan to learn a lot from her. Now, she was too busy today, Rubinstein, a friendly guy in a unique mask patterned like a cow, played Mei-Shun’s partner. Thanks a million for helping her gently in gallop lessons.

Purr, it’s cooler today. Mom, sit down on the sofa. She brought my summer bed from upstairs, but my best place is here — on her legs. You put on cotton dress, make it the most comfortable. Maybe due to temperature change, I’ve got my nose running. Not downward but upward a little. Mom always worries about it, asks me if it is all right. Pas de problème, just let me use paw gloves.

Though we have serial hot days since this weekend, fog is often seen in early mornings around here. Mei-Shun found a couple of wild duck swimming together on 乙戸沼 the other day. Softly coated with mist, they looked so romantic. A cormorant stood still on a fountain head. One thing she learned after driving her car for 8 years is that fog lamps work very well in this condition.
When Shin and Mei-Shun arrived at 飛鳥寺, a pheasant guy began to declare his territory. They beat a big bell once respectively to greet him under the gaze of guardian little frog, entered the room to see handsome 飛鳥大仏. Oh, welcome to our car, dear ladybug. We heard that you have a miraculous system in wings, folded precisely and jump-open to fly. It would be applied to astronautics.
