Since it has become cooler as Mikan-chan mentioned recently, perspiration during walking and horse riding is not so much compared to the one in summer. Maybe another method is necessary — “once-a-week sweets” is on the top of candidate methods list.

Punishment?
StandardSundays might be the key for Mei-Shun’s diet: recent 3 weekends saw her have carbohydrate after 18 : 00. Latest one was better, since she rode Madoka-chan and Vanilla Arc on Saturday, perspired much. Rain prevented her from doing so for 10 days at the end of August. It seriously affects her weight control. The more she learns how to get along with horseies, the more riding would be a salubrious aerobic exercise.
She’s Satisfied
StandardMei-Shun introduced another strategy into her diet, calling it “before 18 o’clock” method. It has joined 8-hour-carbo system, makes her finish eating rice, bread and high-calorie fruits including banana, grape and melon at least 3 hours before going to bed. Implemented from lunar July 1st, it gave a remarkable result: let her lose nearly 1 bag of sugar in less than a week.
She Stagnates
StandardLunar July starts with tonight’s 朔=saku. What would Mei-Shun wish? Of course, success in her weight management. Actually, it has stopped losing for 12 weeks so far. She lost more than 2 bags of sugar in the first month, thanks to 8-hour carbo method. That means it works well to keep her current shape. Well, one more sack is necessary to go for health, several more for vogue.
Waiting For …
StandardOur ancestors she might be, a white lily at the shrine Shin and Mei-Shun walk to in the morning. It takes just a week for buds to be clearly recognized — three flowers could be seen on this stalk soon. Another pleasure of the couple was the luckiest omikuji, all the same in number and fortune they drew respectively.
Rice ears began to appear on the top of each green, attracting many blue dragonflies with little white flowers.
Back and Forth
StandardAs it has become sultry, I gave up taking a nap at roof floor moving down to stairs one by one. Purr, it is very nice to feel breeze from the west in the morning. However, just a few days since rainy season was over, dark clouds and humid air continue to accompany the sunrise. Even recent 大暑=taisho, the last of summer 二十四節気 failed to be the hottest. Season is going like mom’s diet, meow.

StandardMei-Shun’s 8-hour-carbo/candy-first methods have seen 2 months. They are going so-so, allowed her to lose nearly three bags of sugar in total. Another manner has been introduced recently to get on a scale after enough perspiration, good stool and empty stomach — they give the minimum weight. Mental health is one of the most important factors for sustainable management, isn’t it?
Trap in Diet
StandardSeven weeks have passed since Mei-Shun started 8-hour-carbo diet. She experienced an ups and downs last week; ate a bit too much for 3 days, controlled her eating for another 3 days. That is because she sometimes feels difficulty in restraining from sweets, led to a sudden rush toward a pantry in which delicacy of her eye’s choice is stored. She therefore decided to introduce an innovative method; candy-first dessert system.
Flexible Exercise
StandardTo our disappointment, annoying little flies swirl above slim canals watering rice paddy these days. Not only baking your nape, summer sunlight energizes such natural creatures. And Shin, who is involved in diet as well, has to stop walking to the nearest station in this season. That makes 乙戸沼 Park available for driver Mei-Shun in early mornings, with a thrilling experience to get on a swing after decades recently.
8H Carbo
StandardIt works quite well. Some of Mei-Shun’s friends carry out 8-hour diet, gave her a hint for an original method. They are allowed to eat anything, anytime within 8 hours. Other 16 hours would be used for digestion and rest for intestinal tracts. Sounds logical, yet the essence seems to be in another factor: those watching weight tend to eat less than before. That is why Mei-Shun decided to allot 8 hours to carbohydrates.
