Here are black carrots grown by Tele-farm. Now our refrigerator is full of them, with normal orange ones already stored. They will make a little earlier Christmas gifts for horses, while cooking vegetables is a lot of fun for Mei-Shun as well.

365th Step!
StandardIt seems one of great joys allowed only to grown-ups: we enjoyed chatting on Japanese sweets sent from Mei-Shun’s mother after dinner, late at night. Such a style of eating is awful for a good diet? Ah-ha. You are exactly right. Green tea could give damage to a sound sleep? Well, we know they say so. We would see anybody who could be good to us as Jessie, Ariana and Nicki do.
Back to the Ground
Standard…for horseback riding. Mei-Shun had to cancel lessons three times this month, giving priority to her stage, yet missing lovely horses so much. And this morning, she was fairly felicitous to meet Curly Prince, the eldest guy among more than 100 horses owned by our club. He puts on a thick coat, might be the fluffiest as well. Yes, you are right. It looks winter has already come.
Bright Beauty
StandardIt was cloudy this morning. Well, no problem. We have daylight indoors — she prefers chilly weather to keep these lights on. And following slight sunshine in the afternoon, one of her twin sisters has woken up.
Here She Comes
StandardHer first bloom means that winter would follow soon. She grows fastest, while her twin sisters still look green. We took them and Mr. Avocado indoors to wait for spring together.

StandardThe second Monday in October is Health and Sports Day. Originally set on 10th Oct., Happy Monday System works to increase serial holidays. Thanks to nice weather for activities outdoors, many sport events are held at schools and local communities. Early in the morning, fireworks are shot off to let us know it goes ahead. Good luck, children. We grown-ups would enjoy sleeping more.

Supermoon!
StandardWe have it tonight. It is clear, the best condition to have a little party at home. Yesterday enjoyed the harvest moon, so two consecutive days of beauty in the sky, round-shape sweets on the table. It comes only once this year, compared to three times last year — very rare phenomena.

StandardWe had a 5-day holiday called “Silver Week” from 19th to today this year. It includes Respect for the Elderly Day, which has been celebrated on the third Monday of September due to our Happy Monday System while Autumnal Equinox Day on Wednesday. Such arrangement makes Tuesday a national holiday to make us even happier. And many of us hope to have this consecutive holidays every year along with “Golden Week” in May.
Horse Hiking
StandardBeginners normally practice within a circle set in the sand ground of the club. It is exciting and enjoyable enough, yet sometimes we feel like going out of here into surrounding woods. And today, this little dream has come true. Putting on her new protective vest, Mei-Shun made an excursion on a horse named Zui-Setsu (随雪 in Chinese character maybe, meaning ever-snowing).
