Horses Again

Standard

Dr. Y’s diagnosis was remarkably correct. Dyshidrosis symptom has 95% disappeared after a week, taking all medicines he prescribed. Left 5% is at the bottom of both palms, thumbs and several fingers. Mei-Shun resumed piano lesson, stretching exercise including push-ups from last night and — horseback riding today.

Disturbing Rash

Standard

They suddenly assaulted Mei-Shun’s palms. Shockingly ugly and incredibly itchy — it was Shin who saved her from panicking. He drove her to see a doctor in charge of holiday treatment yesterday, taking half an hour. At a glance, Dr. Y diagnosed that it was a symptom of dyshidrosis, prescribing steroidal ointment and an internal antipruritic medicine for a week. Oh, such a disturbance to see horses … it seems that Mei-Shun perspired too much within gloves on them.

Sweet Girl

Standard

Here is Omochi-chan again. Mikan-chan found this stool the best place this morning. Yes, it’s cool, honey. Tasty season has come. Chestnut, sweet potato, pumpkin, pear, grape and green orange … Oh, mom has to make a reservation to see Dr. M, her home dentist!

I'm steamy.

I’m steamy.

Tuning Please

Standard

Ms. Piano has not heard from the musical instruments company — she must have been tuned last month. Mei-Shun cannot recognize her trouble, yet professional care of once a year is indispensable to keep her healthy. Don’t you think so, Choco-chan and Ohagi-chan?

Sweet couple

Sniff, it’s not a toffee.

So is a sigh of relief again. Mei-Shun feels so happy to see Dr. A, ever smiling to give a report of no problem once a month. After this “ceremony”, a small party is waiting for her at home; a sundae in the refrigerator. Her diet normally allows sweets only in the morning, yet such a treat helps her continue it.

Family Communication

Standard

Mei-Shun visited her mother’s home. She is well as always, that gives her younger daughter a relief and happiness. Her older daughter lives nearby, making grandma twice-a-week babysitter. Mei-Shun hopes her once-in-a-month visit help us check up mom’s health. How she looks, speaks and walks? How much she eats? A rare visitor might be able to recognize a small change.

Dear Peach Lovers as well?

Standard

It looks that Mei-Shun has become more allergic to foods after taking operation. Among three biggest allergen; wheat, egg, and soy, the last one slightly affects her in milk these days. Kiwi gave her a shocking symptom. Sparkling wine also did, yet it might come from quantity, not from any component of it. And recently, after enjoying a melon and a peach, itchy rash appeared on her mouth. Which one caused this?

Mei-Shun has enough HDL cholesterol in blood, a bit higher than average. Dr. A always jokes calling it “tasty blood”. Well, it might be tomato juice that circulates within her body. And T-Bil is as well a little higher. Is it why she has often been asked if she ate too much oranges?

Missing Tora-chan

Standard

… for a whole day. We saw her bend the right, rear leg yesterday. It looked clear that she had a pain there, yet she never let us touch it. Did you fight with somebody? Or get a poisonous bite by a horsefly? Oh, you had no breakfast. We worried about her all day long. In the evening, when mom-in-law started watering the garden, she unexpectedly appeared from the mint bush. Welcome back, darling.

Sigh of relief again. This is the 4th visit to the hospital to see Dr. A after Mei-Shun left there. However, another sigh is for her plan of diet, which miserably failed so far. It is awful. Obesity is a kind of disease. All the same for the plump, or even worse because they tend to take themselves still approved to be healthy. Such an idea already looks unhealthy, doesn’t it?

I'm in good health.
