It started raining hard after Mei-Shun got into Ms. Scarlet to and from the hospital, with a good phone call from Dr. A deeply wished. By the way, August 15th of lunar calendar was yesterday. In spite of weather forecasts, she was able to enjoy 仲秋の名月= the most beautiful moon of the year. Even if no sight of a full moon like tonight’s, another luck often comes.

New Moon
StandardWe have 八朔=hassaku, not meaning the orange breed Mei-Shun loves but the beginning of lunar August today. It is said to be a time when we should be wary of typhoons, while an autumnal rain front would stay above us through this week. Thanks to such information, she was able to enjoy riding Maria- and Madoka-chans before it started raining hard.
Sweet Moon
StandardMei-Shun saw Dr. M, her home dentist for teeth cleaning only today. Replacement for Ame-chan would be arranged after 4th, September: its twin sister might be extracted as well. As a way to avoid such a gloomy idea, she dropped in a shop of 和菓子=wagashi, Japanese sweets to pick up following delicacies of autumn. Missing our graceful satellite for a few nights, shall we find her among them?
Too Soon
StandardIt is a bit, darling. 萩=hagi, bush clover in our garden might make a mistake by cool weather from last Friday. Since summer has come back with mercury over 30 degrees Celsius today, Mei-Shun is worried about you. Please do not try to go into full bloom, just stay on her kimono. Autumn flowers are to be featured on traditional Japanese clothes and sweets according to lunar calendar.
Moon Music
StandardClosed at home by typhoons, Mei-Shun often played with Ms. Piano in the morning for these 2 weeks. It reminds her of childhood, especially summer vacation when she and her elder sister used to do the same. They managed to avoid complaints from neighbors who were not interested in, while the grown-up younger is never worried about such a matter, just misses the gentle light at night.
Moon Missed
Standard… in full shape, on Saturday when the atypical typhoon Jongdari hit Japanese Archipelago. It went from east to west, just opposite to normal, still continues to walk above southern Kyushu. However, cautious preparation in Kansai area worked very well this time, makes Mei-Shun feel relieved. We and Mars would be able to enjoy our propinquity tonight in clear sky.

Half Passed
StandardThis time has come for Shin and Mei-Shun to enjoy 水無月, celebrating their halcyon life from the start of 2018. Looking at a clear full moon last night, they were full of thankfulness. With southern shutters kept open wishing to be blessed by the gentle light, they said good-night to Mikan-chan. And in this morning, according to weather forecasts, current rainy season seems to have gone!
Fifth Moon
StandardIt was 端午の節句 or lunar May 5th yesterday. Covered with rainy clouds of this season, we have missed beautiful crescents since the 2nd of the same. Mei-Shun gave it up in half, yet felt lucky for seeing her float among dark shadow. Please find following a photo taken by her who made such a challenge despite being awful at it. She wishes it could help a piece of smile for Osaka people.
Missing Moon
StandardLunar May has started from yesterday. It was a bit cloudy, yet clear enough to let Mei-Shun see lovely horseies for lessons. Oh, this was 大安 as well, the best among 六曜 for her elder sister’s birthday. “Congratulations!” e-mail took just a minute for a thankful reply. She was too tired to play piano at night, while a good result on a weight scale shed bright light into her mind.
Piano Season
StandardAt least Mei-Shun feels so. Rainfall makes her stay indoors, find something special to do in such an environment. For example, even if she cannot see the moon at night, great composers like Debussy and Beethoven would help much. Their works to express moonlight soothe not only her but also every mind, while sensitive technique is required to play them precisely.
