Both plants and night-sky splendour are perfect matches.

We therefore stay home all day long, see her implement 晴耕雨読=work outdoors on sunny days, study by textbooks indoors during rainy ones. Mei-Shun watered Momo-chan, our garden princess this morning. Heatstroke alert has been aired from Sunday, might continue hereafter. It is too severe for Her Highness to keep green, who began putting on a yellowish coat with blackened fruits. That reminds “queen” of similar sight in summer 2024 — King Shin asked her to do the same. If it works, little leaves and flowers would greet them soon.

Mei-Shun saw nice numbers on a scale yesterday. We might receive bon gift from sky in Kanto region: no 猛暑日, days at/over 35 degrees Celsius were seen from Sunday. That allows Mikan-chan and her mom safe exercise at horsey riding clubs, even if dance a little. Good perspiration, not too much lets the latter feel satisfied. Shall we start a tea party at night, honey?
Mei-Shun’s diary taught her that 寒蝉, meaning cold cicada is read hi-gurashi, her favorite. 蜩 has been only Chinese character she knew for it, let her imagine the reason written in 2 ways. Her childhood heard them start singing from early in the morning, while around sunset when she tried dancing with Mr. Marumorita today. We do not feel chill at all but cooler wind, darling.
Mei-Shun’s irritation mark on right arm has almost disappeared, thanks to excellent medication. She is usually cared by pills to alleviate melasma, who requires 2-month taking before respite for the same period. Since above trouble occurred during the latter, she adopted similar one whose ingredients work to lessen pigmentation. A paperweight from 砥部 fits its bottle cap.
Mei-Shun decided to practice “La Cinquantaine” and “Habanera” on Ms. Piano every time, at least 4 days a week. Thanks to this method, “Kanon” kindly joined her tiny repertoire sung with pleasure, without any pain of mistake. Mei-Shun walked to a hair salon for shampoo and curl: the other is for dyeing, also in high heels. The former takes just an hour, the latter almost twice since medicine needs time of calming down.
