Mei-Shun chose one for dinner, felt quite interested in a souvenir shop next to a small gallery. Shin did as well, visited there in early morning. They decided to bring home a pair of chopsticks rest shaped like flowers with different number of petals.
Mei-Shun has been so much interested in cleaning and treatment for Princess Maria who puts all white coat. Although the rider makes it a rule to visit Her Highness twice a week, she decided to add one more today to attend a lecture held by a “stable master” of our club. Shin gave Mei-Shun a surprise gift: they went on one-night trip to 遠刈田温泉. They have several nice hot springs listed, while it is always exciting to visit another place for the first time. 3-hour drive was quite comfortable on a weekday, brought them at 竹泉荘 around 16 o’clock. The husband took a nap, the wife enjoyed wide public bath before tasty dinner.
Mom-in-law finally left the hospital. During her stay for 2 weeks, Mei-Shun visited there every day bringing a newspaper and a few report on house matters. What has come into the latter’s mind was that every family member has an important role at home. Here she happily bought a horsey halter in coffee color with a leader by gratuity from the generous ex-inpatient.
… on lunar calendar is today, called 重陽の節句. It is one of 五節句 including 七草, 桃, 端午, 七夕 and often represented by chrysanthemum flowers. With 京鹿子娘道成寺 symbolizing cherry blossom, it seems interesting to dance it in yukata full of autumnal patterns dyed on. Oh, crickets are singing under a bit cloudy half moon. Thanks to bring equanimity for Mei-Shun.
Mei-Shun resumed to walk to the nearest shrine, drew two 吉=kichi, lucky omikuji lots consecutively. They mean quite similar as saying; those who see the 45th lot have everything in full shape, while those who do the 49th have everything satisfied like 仲秋の名月 with no clouds. Both advises her to stay humble, and it would go better with Gods’ protection.
