The two men crouched by our troubled dishwasher and discussed, resulted in an initial failure of the appliance maker. Gray-haired gas fitter left saying good luck, younger salesperson stayed to call a repairer. The latter was driving around here by chance, visited us in a minute. He aligned the machine, told Mei-Shun that the door had not been locked enough. She tried once again, succeeded in making it start. Hi, Mikan-chan, what a good girl you’ve kept, with so many male strangers!
His singing was heard on the first day of July around here this year. However, today’s air is amazingly cool — minus 10 degrees Celsius compared to yesterday, Mei-Shun recognized later. Such an enormous change in temperature makes her feel very sleepy. Oh, Mikan-chan, would you join mom for a nap?

You have another boyfriend, don’t you? How’s Dora-chan? You do not get along anymore?? One of her last kittens looked like Kuro-chan I, a big guy with a black jacket and white socks. And Dora-chan sometimes visited our garden to say hello to the feeding mother. Now she seems to play and share meal with slimmer Kuro-chan II, putting on a longer black coat and a white bow-tie.
Warm weather of these days is very comfortable for me. My favorite place is this winter bed stored on the roof floor. Mom gets up 5 o’clock in the morning to let me out of the cage. I eat, patrol before going up to there. But my peaceful nap is sometimes interrupted by an interloper, hiss! Mom calls her Tora-chan. I don’t know her, nor intend to make friends with her, hiss!!

It was really like summer today. I looked for the best place to take a nap, finally stayed in my current bed during daytime. Mom opened windows, nice wind smoothes me down. Purr, I love natural air … oh? Already in the evening? Where’s mom? Ah, she is dozing off on the sofa. I prefer her legs covered with a blanket.

I prefer natural temperature after winter. I love stoves, but dislike that humming one set high on the wall, hiss. Let’s go up to roof-floor landing where mom brought my beds. Oh, this pink one looks more comfortable — that cushion put within was too high before. She walked out, I wonder? Purr, it’s not bad.
