Mei-Shun danced with Mr. Marumorita yesterday, accompanied by the prettiest Mikan-chan of course. She actually took medicine in the morning, saw amazing numbers on a sphygmomanometer. It shows how she feels; if no fever, nose running, cough, etc. is perceived. Good perspiration improves condition, while a scale let her know at least one bag of sugar stays around waist.
Ms. K gave Ms. Piano nice care on weekend, lets Mei-Shun sing on the latter with lighter keys and clearer sounds. It took the former almost 3 hours — tuning had been done by other technicians, while not adjustment, she explained. Well, her new timbre became a bit too accurate never to allow mistakes. This poor player must be tense not to make any.
We are already in winter, yet feel autumn still stays. I and mom enjoy trees putting on jackets of red, yellow, light green and my name color, purr. A gingko in our backyard is slow to change his clothes compared to banana ones along a street toward our horsey riding club. He often sees mom working with this 半纏 kimono coat on, instead of another covered by sushi made of my breed.

So the last month of 2024 on solar calendar started. Mei-Shun gets up at 5 : 00 on weekdays, found 下弦の月 or a crescent getting thinner in eastern sky within November. She wishes to see 上弦の月, the same leading to full shape float in western sunset from tonight. Foliage along streets in Tsukuba is still colorful, while almost every shops adorns Christmas trees.
Ms. T, previous “doctor” for Ms. Piano gave Mei-Shun a phone call the other day. She kindly gave private numbers, allowed the latter client to contact her directly next time. By the way, “Kanon” composed by Master Pachelbel is intensely practiced these days. It replaces finger exercise and leads toward M. Debussy’s “Clair de Lune” if she is too tired to play more scores.
I and mom went out every day this week, would do tomorrow as well. She usually makes it a rule to keep at least one weekday to work at home, yet has its exception of course. It relieves her of vigorous exercise, helps to maintain physical/mental health. We enjoy basking in winter sunshine on Tuesdays; before or after doing laundry, hanging futon mats, vacuuming, cooking, etc.

… at a cafe Mei-Shun enjoyed on weekend again. Or precisely, just a few steps from there with Professor M: that Chinese restaurant seems to serve for smaller cars than Ms. Scarlet. Only a piece of paper could slip out of her doors. She therefore exchanged car parks toward above place. After baked sandwiches, her dessert came to the table followed by his green tea ice cream.
Mei-Shun is a pencil lover. Not only writing by hand, sharpening with tiny gears has been a nice time of concentration. However, the latter do not work well these days — they often break leads. That was why she purchased bigger one at a stationery shop. Hmm, it makes a good job, easy to handle and looks charming. Color of beauty in night sky helps her to relax.
Mei-Shun met M-chan yesterday, her only niece and a graduate student at the University of Tsukuba. They chose a cafe just nearby its campus, while the former aunt parked Ms. Scarlet in front of a supermarket located a bit distant from there. It was because a marathon race was held, yet amazingly no runners were seen around. And oh, here Professor M entered with a colleague or a guest.
Mei-Shun took a thin stove out of a colorful box, designed by a pencils maker. This product itself is shaped like a big red pencil, while brought toward any room thanks to handy size. That might be a reason why her daughter with silver coat and green eyes pretty adored it. Please get a bit more away from it, honey, an electric heater is not a Christmas tree.
