Here you find a rice planter, for which these lovely boats full of young babies are waiting. It is very nice that watered paddies are not so shiny as Otonuma is even early in the morning. Mei-Shun feels happy to walk along them, greeting several other walkers and dogs.
One of green necklace pods has been found growing it. So cute is this puffball on a long and slender stalk, isn’t it? Each seeds will fly away with one strong message to prosper anywhere. Oh, it reminds Mei-Shun of Dr. A, not a message recorded but saying “Yes” on a phone call at Sunday night.
To you, Professor S from Mei-Shun and Mikan-chan. This morning gave the former a chance to enjoy beautiful 八重桜 bloom at 乙戸沼 Park while the latter to relax in Lemon after a long intermission, before moving into her favorite bed. Still feeling winter, honey? That excellent lady was born in the middle of spring.
Mei-Shun sees Dr. A every other month before sampling. It takes 2 weeks for a phone call to let her know the latest result. If “Yes”, it makes next reservation in June fixed. If “No”, … oh, let her stop thinking. A big, old cherry tree beside the front entrance looks like celebrating her and Birthday of the Buddha, full of beautiful pink petals.
Mei-Shun visited the municipal office to apply for her passport renewal, expecting the date of issue to be set on March 30th — the third candidate before it expires on coming April 10th. She completely left the hospital on that day last year. The second candidate came in waiting number, made her so happy.
Mei-Shun planned to apply for her passport renewal on coming March 3. It seemed nice to make the date of issue set on one of her happiest ones. However, she has to cancel that procedure since her left eye would take longer than 3 days to heal. Another candidate is March 23 when Mikan-chan exulted seeing her mom again after 4-week wait last year.
Today will never be forgotten by Mei-Shun, who went under the knife last year. Everything has returned to normal except for the scar fading little by little. It allowed her to learn many, including the fact that she is not living her life alone; family and friends give her a delightful life.
Please take the most profound gratefulness of Mei-Shun, Professor S. This bottle accommodates a perfume from the Sultanate of Oman, called “tarha” meaning a bride’s veil in Arabic. Three respectful professors of the University of Tsukuba kindly held a birthday party for Mei-Shun last Saturday; January 13th on the lunar calendar. The same restaurant they met last year served two glasses of beer instead of wine.
The answer was “Yes”. Thank you so much, Dr. A. She gave Mei-Shun a phone call around 14 : 00, maybe immediately after she met all outpatients. Such attitude is to be really admired — patients always feel like walking on a narrow bridge. Actually, that is not only for patients: normal, healthy people are on the same place as well. The latter just do not recognize it.
No problem as usual, thank you so much. Dr. A offered Mei-Shun to see her every other month if today’s sample gives a good result. That sounds great — now she expects the next reservation to be fixed on April 8th, Birthday of the Buddha. Yes, or No? The answer would be brought by a phone call after 2 weeks.
