Since his works on fusuma, paper sliding door of 唐招提寺 are exhibited at a museum in Mito, they planned to drive there today expecting less crowd. Oh? you have a TV conference from noon? Mei-Shun loves 鳩サブレー. It is popular sablé made in 鎌倉, reminds her of high school days — she made an excursion to there with several classmates in the first grade. Thank you so much, Professor K. Mei-Shun worked at a research institute as his secretary years ago. Really a gentleman and ideal boss, he once gave her a translation job. It continues to date, supports her stage performance every year.
They are unrecognizable — which one is the last princess? A bit bigger each flower looks compared to their elder sisters. Shin has the worst symptom of hay disease today. Waking up early in the morning, he asked Mei-Shun to let him sleep on the sofa for a while. At 7:00, he gave up going out and returned to the bed. A sudden day off makes his wife a nurse, mother and secretary. Of course she works hard, yet never happy to. Oh, beautiful 十三夜 moon, thank you so much for your heart-purifying coming up.
On piano practice, Mei-Shun found an interesting matter. Her wrists move like going on gently-sloped hills when she plays a score for finger exercise. A long tone with pedaling makes a small circle by the right wrist, in clockwise or counterclockwise directions depending on melody. When quick touch is required, wrists are fixed at a height to relieve each finger. They all occur in precise performance only.
Meow, it was really cold this morning. I feel something wrong wandering around tail, cannot sleep after breakfast. Mom, mom? Are you going out? Here is 治部椀=jibu-wan, simmered vegetables, duck meat and 簾麩=sudare-fu, wheat gluten cake shaped like a bamboo blind dressed with thick starchy sauce served in a soup bowl. This is one of favorite dishes for Shin and Mei-Shun at a restaurant in Shinagawa, while reminds the latter of a cooking book she bought in preparation for marriage. It featured 治部煮 among ABCs of Japanese cuisine.
Mei-Shun walked to the nearest shrine as usual. She heard a pheasant guy call his partner on the way, for the first time of this year. How nice to see you again! … oh, not really because she could not catch him in sight. They are so good at hide-and-seek games, make us human beings ever losers.
