Great to see this date — two years have already passed since Mei-Shun had the operation. She has never seen the carp princess after leaving the hospital, while saw many in the air at Tokyo Tower on Saturday. We would be able to see them swim lively within Golden Week, 10-day leave this year including serial weekdays on May 1st and 2nd. Mei-Shun hopes it allows her to forget a phone call from Dr. A.
Dr. A was quick enough this time. She used to give Mei-Shun “Yes” phone calls on weekends, passing several days after 2 weeks of sample examination. Well, anyway, it is highly appreciated by the ex-inpatient. Oh, our last princess finally started to open her green-yellow dress which would turn brighter as she makes a curtsy in full bloom. Such graceful figure reminds Mei-Shun of the eldest one who kindly greeted her in buds 2 years ago, just before her operation.
It was the first time for Dr. A and Mei-Shun to meet with each other this year. The former told the latter that if today’s test results were fine, their appointment would be made every three month. How nice it sounds! The longer a patient can be relieved from memories of any disease, the smaller pressure she/he would have. And it would mean seasonal visits to a hospital — quite normal for Japanese in good health, living in a country of 春夏秋冬=spring, summer, autumn and winter.
They are for horseies, longer ones attached to forefeet while shorter ones to rear. Mei-Shun ordered them via net shopping as お年玉=otosidama, meaning new-year gift for herself. She is ready to purchase such items little by little. Rental gears are available for free at our club, yet her favorite colors and designs are much better. Her dream is to own a horse in the future, at home if possible. Shin loves them as well, would be happy to take care of him/her or — them.
She was right. How great it is to have a “Yes” phone call from Dr. A! Mei-Shun was out when her smartphone rang, yet immediately contacted her mother and Shin to let it know. Last time, the former chided her younger daughter that she had not informed on her seeing Dr. A. Oh? She gives no details on the day; sample analysis would need at least 2 weeks. “That may be true,” she said. “But you have to understand what mothers are like. They want to keep all tabs on their children.”
It is for 2016. Mei-Shun would like to bring back her body into weight limit within this year; she has been all the time a bit behind it. Walking and workout at least 4 days a week. Well-balanced diet, refraining from sweets and alcohol as much as possible. This method to eat less, do exercise is rather standard, yet the most effective for her. Even if she choose harder way, fast for several days for example, she would get back all weight lost later — haste makes waste, they say.
Mei-Shun had a computed tomography held once an year today, on 朔日=saku-jitsu, the first date of a month in lunar calendar with a new moon at night. Thanks to the good timing of CT scanning, she was able to learn a little how to read the image from Dr. A. She said it looked fine, adding that she would give a “Yes” phone call after 2 weeks. Actually, before visiting the hospital, Mei-Shun walked to the nearby shrine and won the luckiest omikuji fortune.
comes a calm, it is said. Mei-Shun hopes it will — fair weather makes stage performers feel supported by the sun. She cannot wait to see 松風 in kimono only tomorrow, while in a full make-up, a wig and a suit for 汐汲 dance on Sunday.
A sampling day to see Dr. A, gives Mei-Shun waiting time of 2 weeks in minimum to know good result. Her hospital accommodates many big trees including gingko, some of which are female with branches full of fruits in this season. Oh, let’s not park under them. Air is quite smelly around, caused by ones already fell on the ground. She cordially wishes it would symbolize tasty nuts only, not such a horrible outcome.
Mei-Shun goes ahead on diet little by little. She has continued walking and stretching exercise since April. It seems working well, giving her lower body skin moisture for example. Regarding weight, however, she lost a few with her regular eating. So she decided to refrain from sweet dessert as much as possible. She is so scared of gaining lost weight back that allows them once a week, expecting a little reward of effort to result in achievement in the long run.
