Here she is. Don’t you kind followers think her eyes are pretty? Not only her looks but her heart is the sweetest. Mei-Shun is so much fond of this lady, would like Madoka-chan to learn a lot from her. Now, she was too busy today, Rubinstein, a friendly guy in a unique mask patterned like a cow, played Mei-Shun’s partner. Thanks a million for helping her gently in gallop lessons.

After 2Y + 6Wks

Standard

Thank you so much, Dr. A, for giving Mei-Shun a “Yes” phone call yesterday. It was recorded by her fixed device, not by portable one. The latter was in a bullet train returning from奈良 via 新大阪, moving too fast to catch such a faint radio wave. Next appointment is set on July 25th. She hopes her current method would safely pass the halfway of losing weight till then.

Dance in Kimono

Standard

Lesson at Master Mei-Shu’s residence resumed from today. However, she still has too much pain in legs to dance. That makes Mei-Shun to feel more responsible for herself: it is her who takes the initiative in learning and sophisticating 娘道成寺. Oh, clear moon of 十三夜 floats in the sea of dark blue sky. Would you support her with such a serene image? Yes, she would like to move smoothly as you do.

Got Healthier

Standard

Mei-Shun brushed up Princess Cymby: she was cut in two at root which swirled and filled her previous throne. It was an exhausting labor — this lady reached through several holes at the bottom of the pot to take nutrition and water. Mei-Shun therefore had to cut them all before pulling out the whole body. Thanks a lot, Shin, for helping her breaking the balking pot.

Edible Flower?

Standard

Would you see what flower it is? It is broccoli, gave us tasty buds all though March, ending in such a lovely shape. Oh, here comes our garden cat. Hi, honey, thanks for your good job. You look staying among flowers at night these days, Shin told Mei-Shun the other day. Does that mean you decided to play the role of Fuku-chan, who sleeps next to Black Tea rose?

Welcome Back

Standard

Mei-Shun planted 蝋梅=robai, Chimonanthus praecox babies in the garden. They are called wintersweet or Japanese allspice as well, one of her late father’s favorite flowers. Her mother loves plants while an earnest caregiver. With a garden full of memories, she has raised peach, rose, wisteria, bush clover and so on. These twins are expected to follow Princess Momo-chan.

Ever Wild

Standard

You are really meant by name, darling. Mei-Shun rode him for the first time, shocked a little for almost nothing she could do. She and another student on out-of-reach horsey had to stay at the center of a rectangle field we practice within while other “couples” were trotting. It was found later that Ever is friendly toward the same species, never wild. Oh, cherry blossom, thanks a million to soothe her mind with such a beauty.

White Elegance

Standard

Following magnolia, 雪柳=yuki-nanagi, literally snowy willow began to bloom. Now much of our attention is on 染井吉野 cherry blossom, Mei-Shun prefers 大島桜. Each flower of the latter is a bit bigger than the former, color of petal is all white. She loves white flowers including roses, tulips and 萩=hagi, bushclover. Lotuses are added on this list after she visited 熱川 on weekend.

Sweet Memory

Standard

Mei-Shun loves 鳩サブレー. It is popular sablé made in 鎌倉, reminds her of high school days — she made an excursion to there with several classmates in the first grade. Thank you so much, Professor K. Mei-Shun worked at a research institute as his secretary years ago. Really a gentleman and ideal boss, he once gave her a translation job. It continues to date, supports her stage performance every year.

Girls’ Day

Standard

It is today, while Mei-Shun’s best party was held 2 years ago at the hospital she stayed. After operation, she started to eat from soup and fruit juice. As was rice porridge with 七分粥, 70% grain seen on the 5th day for lunch served with a tiny bag of ひなあられ=hina-arare, sugar-coated puffed rice. It is one of special sweets for March 3rd celebration, worked as a warm reminder of normal life. A lovely card was attached saying “we wish your prompt recovery.”
