It looks that Mei-Shun has become more allergic to foods after taking operation. Among three biggest allergen; wheat, egg, and soy, the last one slightly affects her in milk these days. Kiwi gave her a shocking symptom. Sparkling wine also did, yet it might come from quantity, not from any component of it. And recently, after enjoying a melon and a peach, itchy rash appeared on her mouth. Which one caused this?

Turn to Yellow
StandardYes, on our lunar calendar, autumn has already come. Tokyo had serial 8 days of over 35 degrees Celsius from July 31st to August 7th. And this green started to go yellow from August 8th, risshu (=the beginning of autumn) of this year. It is amazing to see that truly reflects seasonal change.
Japanese Culture@wkday
StandardObon period has come. Many happy grandparents are seen on TV holding their grandchildren at the gate of local airports, railway stations and so on. Some of them live in Tsuchiura, a city of half countryside and half urban. It is interesting to find birthday cake-like ones at Japanese sweet shops — clearly for children, an example of obon– or New Year-specific items in stores.
Culture of Dance
StandardMaster Mei-Shu stays in Tokushima, her hometown, to enjoy watching Awa Odori tonight. She has grown up in ever-dancing culture, that would be a big envy among Japanese dance fanciers including Mei-Shun. And Tokushima people share a nice ground to welcome any dancer on the stage, shown in their manner to give warm applause at the beginning of each performance.
Her Techniques
StandardSome pet cats punches out room items to make their places, yet Mikan-chan has never done it from her kitten-hood. She has a fine dexterity to move between small pieces, keeping their positions at window-side, on the piano, desk, etc. Oh, sorry for that messy nature around Shin’s futon mat.

Sick Lady
StandardOur cymbidium looks a bit tired — her leaves turn pale, with tops blacked. Current environment might be too hard; in such a torrid weather. We decided to bring her indoors after watering in the morning, keeping her wet in daytime. In the evening, she returns to outdoors to be watered enough. We hope she would recover soon.
After 18 Wks
StandardMei-Shun has enough HDL cholesterol in blood, a bit higher than average. Dr. A always jokes calling it “tasty blood”. Well, it might be tomato juice that circulates within her body. And T-Bil is as well a little higher. Is it why she has often been asked if she ate too much oranges?
We Love Horses
StandardShin recommended Mei-Shun to take a trial lesson of horseback riding. She is so happy to see that clever animal, which many fanciers are unable to own. Reserved date is September 4th. All right, a good goal for her diet. The lighter she is, the more they would like her.
Banana Joined Us
StandardWe hope she likes this environment enough to give a fruit. Attached instruction is read that banana leaves fall after another to grow up. However, it is a bit shocking to find out fallen one on the floor just over a night. We would try to be used to her custom.
Sphinx Appears
StandardIn the middle of summer, we often find a fluffy Sphinx relaxing on the floor. Only different from the one in Egypt is that she continues to swing her tail listening to songs of cicadas. When they fly nearby, this creature disappears to rush toward the window.
