What is your favorite ice cream flavor? It is chocolate-mint for Mei-Shun. Cup, corn or bar, any type would be welcomed. She recently found a chocolate-coated bar — how gorgeous! As rice seedlings grow up, her weight started to decrease. For a success in control, she must make that great taste once-a-month joy.
Mei-Shun has gained one more sugar bag since she started walking in the morning. Sooo shocking, yet there is always a reason why her tyre around the waist grows. It is simple; she has eaten too much. And she knows well the easiest way to lose weight; she should eat less. Exercise is good for health, while never means she can consume all energy she happily took in.
They have joined into the picture Mei-Shun enjoys in the morning. Green touch increases day by day, makes it straight toward summer. It is so nice to see rice paddies grow to feed many birds, and us finally in autumn.
Here you find a rice planter, for which these lovely boats full of young babies are waiting. It is very nice that watered paddies are not so shiny as Otonuma is even early in the morning. Mei-Shun feels happy to walk along them, greeting several other walkers and dogs.
Here comes Golden Week. It was named by the film industry who gain big profits during these serial holidays, they say. And many farmers use it to water their rice paddies before planting seedlings. Mei-Shun overslept a little this morning, saw two farmers already start working on her way to the shrine. Sorry to interrupt you.

Anyway, Mikan-chan shows that our fiscal year has started. And Mei-Shun’s resolution to lose several sacks of sugar put all over her body is so firm. It would take a whole year; half a year to reach the goal, another half to keep it. She has succeeded in the former many times while always failed the latter. She hopes that current walking (planned to lead to running), her first experience to employ, would work.
Mom left me alone all day long today. Early in the morning, she drove dad to the nearest station before going to a park. She started walking there to keep herself healthy. Hum, that big tyre around her waist serves me a good cushion, but she looks scared of it. And hiss, she stayed only 2 hours with me! … to see her mom living far away from here.
Mei-Shun’s left eye has 90% healed. A red spot is still above the iris, yet seems to have no problem with glasses. She looks forward to taking lessons of Japanese dance and horseback riding next week. During a whole week of stay-at-home, she made a slight effort to lose a piece of tyre around the waist.
Mei-Shun has felt something weird in her right knee from last week. Ah, her 6-day-a-week practice before stage performance had been too hard, it seemed. Her mother also has a trouble in knees, yet it simply caused by aging. She advised her daughter to see a doctor first. After making sure of no disease, she recommended a muscle training to reduce burden on knees. Yes, mom. Respectfully persuasive suggestion.
Thanks, Maroo. He is very handsome and kind, a white pony, 20 years old, played a role of Mei-Shun’s partner yesterday. Our club let us prepare for riding; we have to brush his/her body, clean inside horseshoes, put cushions on the back, etc., before lessons. Nice idea it seems — we agree with them. Soft pats and gentle talking during preparation would help our wordless conversation.
