Triplets First

Standard

It looks twins would follow these cymbidium princesses. Since flower buds put on transparent honey dew, we can distinguish them from leaf ones. Oh, Mei-Shun was so careless that she hurt a bit of the eldest. Your highness, please kindly let her stay grateful for your generosity. Younger ladies are safe, growing day by day. Mom-in-law’s crab cactus pot also holds many buds in bright pink at each top of leaves. Our Christmas might see some of them bloom as called.

Prompt Progress

Standard

Our backyard gingko put on green-yellow coat just a week before. He is so quick to turn it into all yellow by this morning — perhaps caused by warmth of these several days. Mei-Shun enjoys a seasonal carpet on the balcony. On the other hand, she keeps taking care of the gorgeous bouquet of roses from Shin for three weeks. Yes, such a long time has passed since she danced 汐汲. Her twin sister 松風 still wants to sleep. No problem, go ahead as you like it.

Time to Go

Standard

Our sleepy gingko finally started to change his green coat into yellow one. Please find the prominent figure recently gone greeted by the latest color. Mei-Shun meant to enjoy sunny walking with her mother today, yet she said it was too late — her younger daughter arrived at noon. They have much to talk about, including matters better to be kept confidential. Air suddenly get cold after 14:00. So they chose to stay indoors and chat over a tree which has the same name as daddy.

Tropical Family

Standard

Mr. Banana stands quietly in morning sunlight, with a new leaf looking half-frozen. How’s Baby Avocado? … Oh, he looks safe, upheld in snow-covered garden. It is awful that current cold wave forces Mei-Shun to arrange protector against frost for them so soon. On the other hand, she found five flower buds of Princess Cymbidium just after returning from the roof floor to watch Mr. Banana. Kindly let her show great pleasure, your highness.

Gorgeous Sight

Standard

It really is in Tsukuba right now. Most of main streets are trimmed by trees beautifully bloom in spring, colored in autumn. Mei-Shun’s favorite includes Japanese maple whose coats depend on daily temperature and weather in summer especially. Perhaps the latter made one yellow instead of red, with already browned leaves on the top. Another keeps green while in part turning into bright red. The only problem is that they are too attractive to keep drivers’ eyes on the road.

Gold in Blue

Standard

10 days have passed since Mei-Shun visited 乙戸沼 Park before. Gingko ladies have changed their dresses from pale green to shiny gold. How great it is to see them in morning sunlight! On the other hand, she felt a bit itchy in thighs at the end of walking. It is because she has stayed away from it for too long — even three-day off gives the same impact. Such a 三日坊主 would be punished by herself.

Missing Supermoon

Standard

The biggest and brightest moon in almost 69 years? Rain was so merciless that prevented us from seeing her in Kanto area last night. Mei-Shun is cordially looking forward to 十六夜 tonight, still haunted by her twin sister 松風. Yes, she has become her 十八番=ohako, most likened and well performed role, while more practice is required for the latter condition. It is wished 花道=hana-michi, a bridge ranging from the left of audience seats to the stage, would be available on the next opportunity.

Thanks a million, Kaori-san.

Kogarashi I

Standard

We have it from the middle of October to the end of November, the first cold wind blowing from the north, stronger than 8 meters per second. It roared around Kanto area yesterday, forced Mei-Shun to stay at home all day long. She was so much worried about Mr. Banana that rushed up to him this calm, freezing morning. He was safe — stand still while bigger one growing a new leave. Such picture reminds her of late avocado couple. Do they share a tropical, powerful lifestyle?

Wild Life

Standard

Oh, Tora-chan, you really are. This morning, Mei-Shun saw her jump around the garden staring at something small. It was a mice — looked so cute, yet it depends. She also catches sparrows and lizards, scolded by mom-in-law. Well, it seems the latter is wrong. We deprived Tora-chan of her motherhood, made her our garden cat. That means half a stray cat she is … Oh, oh, and you climb up our backyard gingko again? Mikan-chan reigns upstairs and indoors. Please do not breach this rule, honey.

Red, Yellow and Green

Standard

We had 立冬=ritto, the first of winter 二十四節気 today. And it really was — might be rare for these warming days. In cold wind surfed on water, Mei-Shun walked around乙戸沼. Flocks of waterfowl have already flown onto the pond, lively chatting with each other. However, once look up, vivid colors dressed by tall ladies jump into your eyes. Many gingko trees changed into yellow while some are still in green. Several Japanese zelkova put on brown-red coats.
