They have 3 breeds of 八重桜 at 乙戸沼 Park. One looks like holding a lot of 桜餅=sakura-mochi, a seasonal Japanese sweet with leaf-flower combination of brown-violet pink. Another has less browned-normal pink while the last one green-delicate shade of light pink as follows.
How shocking it is to see her glasses broken! A metal frame for drying clothes suddenly fell on Mei-Shun. This is the 2nd time — they always protect her eyes sacrificing one of themselves. Thanks and sorry, kind twins. “You didn’t get any hurt, did you?” said Shin first when his wife informed on the misfortune.
These little sprouts of gingko in our backyard while in a row at 乙戸沼 Park are so cute, looking like green shells. However, the former was found to work as stairs for Tora-chan to reach Mei-Shun, Shin and Mikan-chan living on the 2nd floor. Good girl, we cannot let you in. Please keep free, save your territory including our garden.

This morning gave the former a chance to enjoy beautiful 八重桜 bloom at 乙戸沼 Park while the latter to relax in Lemon after a long intermission, before moving into her favorite bed. Still feeling winter, honey? That excellent lady was born in the middle of spring.
And Mei-Shun is still haunted by it. She had reserved a lesson for this morning; Friday, 90-minute, by Ms. I, it has been the best for her to concentrate so far. Well, similar accident could occur anytime. It looks better to change her schedule, into evening for example. As it gets warmer, annoying flies increase to attack horses. Sunlight burns our skin.
While Mei-Shun relaxed at nearby beauty salon, a slight accident occurred in her … lower body. Something began to knock her from inside, getting stronger little by little from a castanet via small and big drums to a cymbal. She immediately left with a frozen smile on the face, drove carefully to home. Yes, she made it — a narrow escape.
I feel very sleepy today. Looking at cloudy sky, mom drove dad to the station in the morning. She has to do the dishes after every meal these days, taking twice as long as usual. That may be why she comes home earlier, makes me happier.

Kaori-san, an illustrator and good high-school classmate of Mei-Shun, will hold her second exhibition in June at Merry-go-round Kyoto, the same venue as her first one. Congratulations and thanks — November gave us a shock of long queue for taxi last time. Our driver was kind enough to teach how to avoid waiting, which would not have to work for June.
Our horseback riding club has many cherry trees. Three of them work as roofs for our cars. Mei-Shun was lucky enough parking in the best space last time. After lessons, she found many little passengers on her car.
Mei-Shun sees Dr. A every other month before sampling. It takes 2 weeks for a phone call to let her know the latest result. If “Yes”, it makes next reservation in June fixed. If “No”, … oh, let her stop thinking. A big, old cherry tree beside the front entrance looks like celebrating her and Birthday of the Buddha, full of beautiful pink petals.
